France Press seleciona jornalista de TV para atuar em Montevidéu

O braço televisivo da agência de notícias France Press está selecionando um jornalista para atuar como produtor de telejornalismo em Montevidéu, capital do Uruguai e do Mercosul. O candidato deverá ter o inglês como língua materna.

THE POSITION:

AFPTV is looking to recruit a motivated, English mother tongue TV news producer for a full-time position in our Montevideo bureau starting from July.

Fast-paced and exciting, the job involves reporting, video editing and packaging reports from the Latin America, and contributing to a multilingual international team. Some opportunity for travel and reporting in the exciting Latin America region. Daily work involves producing packages of hard news, news magazines and lighter features for an international audience. Requires savvy editing, writing and narrating skills for short-format (avg. 1'45" min) video. Good shooting skills a must, as are a good understanding of Spanish and some knowledge of French.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for someone with:
- Two or more years producing short-format hard news and newsmagazine packages for broadcast or cable networks
- Strong writing skills for segments
- Good off-camera narration
- Honed digital non-linear editing skills, preferably on Final Cut Pro
- Native English, good Spanish, some French
- Excellent news judgment and knowledge of current events
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work calmly under pressure
- Must be able to perform on deadline
- Field production experience a plus

Para comercializá-lo localmente, a agência contratou Jean Marc Schwartzenberg, que tem passagens pela Reuters Television, onde atuou nas vendas e marketing para a América Latina, e pela Traffic Marketing Esportivo, onde foi responsável pela venda mundial de direitos da Copa América, Eliminatórias e Copa Libertadores.
