O candidato precisa ter graduação em Comunicação Social e pelo menos 7 anos de experiência profissional. O salário anual é de 55 mil euros, cerca de R$ 145.200,00, pela cotação de 19/11. É garantido ainda um seguro saúde.

The Global Crop Diversity Trust is an international organization whose mission is to ensure the conservation and availability of crop diversity for food security worldwide. The Global Crop Diversity Trust is in the process of establishing its headquarters in Bonn, Germany.

The Global Crop Diversity Trust is seeking candidates for the position of:
Communications Officer
The Communications Officer will report to the Director of Development and will be responsible for leading the development of the Organization’s overall communications strategy in consultation with senior management and the communications team. He/she will be based at the Trust’s offices in Bonn. The specific responsibilities of the position are as follows:
• Develop annual communications activity plan in fulfillment of the strategy, and take responsibility for its implementation.
• Contribute to and participate in the preparation of program publications and other outputs such as journal articles, newsletters and factsheets.
• Research, write and produce a variety of print and electronic media in support of external communications.
• Ensure that the Trust’s communications are, at all times, reflecting the key messages and strategic direction of the Organization.
• Participate in preparing and editing research proposals, project reports and donor reports in consultation with scientists.
• At all times, maintain an understanding and overview of the Trust’s technical activities (including projects), ensuring that this flows into all of the Trust’s communications.
• Manage and ensure effective organizational branding.
• Manage the appearance and content of the Trust’s online presence (currently the website, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr).
• Manage unsolicited requests/respond to information requests.
• Ensure creativity and innovation in the Trust’s communications.
• Manage the production of regular updates for the Trust’s stakeholders, in the form of electronic newsletters, updates and other formats.
• Liaise with and manage external providers, such as PR companies and web designers.
• Liaise professionally with journalists over interviews, Svalbard visits, the provision of materials, etc.
• Work closely with external PR agency to develop and manage a media strategy in support of the objectives of the Trust.
• Work with the PR agency in the drafting of press releases and the coordination of staff for interview, etc.
• Provide general support to the program as requested.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications and competencies
• University degree or equivalent qualifications in communications, journalism or a biological or social science.
• Minimum of 7 years progressively responsible experience in communications/media relations with a similar organization.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken with the ability to present information clearly and concisely, including demonstrated competency in using various forms and channels.
• Knowledge of social media, communications techniques, podcasting, streaming and video.
• Experience in non-profit and development sectors.
• High degree of judgment and initiative.
• Ability to multi-task and to work with a high degree of independence within assigned areas.
• Proficiency in relevant software packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience using database software).
Terms and Conditions: The Trust offers an attractive remuneration package including a competitive salary, non-contributory retirement savings plan, medical insurance and leave provisions. This is a Professional position classified as Level 4, in a scale of 6 Grade Levels with 6 being the highest. The salary range starts at Euro 55,000. All benefits are denominated and paid Euros. Relocation costs are covered for candidates who reside outside of the Bonn/Cologne or surrounding areas. The initial contract will be for a period of three years, subject to a probationary period of twelve months.
